If you hold a Minnesota fishing, hunting or trapping license for 2016, the Minnesota Department Of Natural Resources wants to remind you that they expire Tuesday, February 28.

You can purchase your 2017 license now by clicking the link below.  If you purchase online, or with your smartphone, you will not receive a conventional paper license. Instead, you'll receive a text message or email that serves as proof of a valid fish or game license to state conservation officers. A printed copy of the text or email also can serve as proof of a valid license.

You can also purchase your 2017 license wherever hunting and fishing licenses are sold.
