Thanksgiving means a lot annual traditions will once again take place.  For me, one such tradition is running the Gobble Gallop in downtown Duluth.  Ten years ago, I ran the very first Gobble Gallop and there were around 500 of us out there on that chilly morning.  Now, not only has the race grown but I have great company to run with as I have family members joining me every year.

Duluth Running Company has announced that this years tradition will once again feature the Gobble Gallop 5k Run/Walk, the Tough Turkey 1-Mile Run, and the Gobble Giddy Up! ¼-Mile Kid’s Run.

Over 2,300 athletes are expected to participate, making it the second-largest running event
in Duluth behind Grandma’s Marathon.  Furthermore, a portion of race proceeds and additional contributions from participants and sponsors are donated to the Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank.

It's a lot of fun and a great way to burn off a few hundred calories before you even start your Thanksgiving feast!  Get complete details and registration information below.
